hi, just posting a simple money saving tip

when buying alot of groceries; check your receipt - even at the big hypermarkets! today after paying, i found some error and i highlight to the person. they refunded me RM3.2 lol

one suggestion - maybe carry a small notebook and write down the list from the shelf for the item u pick up. then check receipt after paying lol.

This is really something bugging me for a while. I find it to tedious to check the long list of groceries.
Does anyone have a great suggestion to overcome this trouble?
Probably taking snapshot of everything we buy and check it with the receipt?

maybe we can count how many item we purchase and check the total item with the receipt.
At least there won't be extra item charged.

so far what i experience, they dont make mistake on the quantity becos it follow each item qty. however the problem come when they did not apply me the promotion price or there is difference with the shelf price and the computer price.

so far i kena 2 times; and each time it seem the people were unaware that means others 90% shopper do not inform; or maybe the company intentionally ignore. i wonder why i never experience the hypermarket undercharge me?? :)

anyway, now i will bring a notepad and pen and simply write down just the item value, then compare after payment

I faced the same experience many times at Jaya Jusco. At least 5 times. They always count wrongly.

What I do is, every time when they scanned my items, I will check the price at the cashier's screen, and if I noticed some unexpected figures, I will stop them and recheck.

I guess this is the most convenient way. Stay alert!
