how to calculate this underwriting problem

if a person/applicant for a 25 year endowment policy,
was a male
age 44
moderately overweight
has diabetes for the past 2 year
any insurances company
question..??
what is suitable methods of rating which can be recommend to rate this risk...
numerical method??? judgment methods???

You will need to ask the underwriter on this matter.
What I understand is that insurance companies won't approve medical proposal of a diabetic patient.

Hi azmi,
Life cover is possible. Factors taken into consideration is your current control of diabetes, which look into the level of your fasting blood sugar and HbA1c. The higher the blood sugar, the higher the rating, subsequently higher premium will be charged.
Based from the age with moderately overweight, critical illness cover and h&s benefit will never be approved even for endowment/term plan. Hope this clarify.
