Hi There,

There are many options to investement in gold. Yes, we can register with Public Bank and Maybank. But, have u heard about Etika Emas? I heard they can help us to invest in gold too.They will pay you rm300/month for 6 months contract. 1stly, u need to purchase the gold, sign an agreement and they start to pay rm300 with 30 days. For someone lazy like me and seldom follow up with the daily updates.. I can go with Etika Emas. What's ur opinion?

Since this thread talked about gold investment, I have the following question;

1) in what justification do you choose either to invest gold by keeping it physically or thru passbook?
2) talking about investment diversification, some says that you should invest some of your asset in gold, is it true?

commodity is an asset class that we can include in our investment portfolio.
Normally, gold investment in "passbook account" form incur lower transaction cost.
