Hi, can pls. advise me how EPF distributes the dividend payment?

I tried calculating my dividend payout for 2007 based on the announced rate 5.8%.
But after applying 5.8%, i couldnt arrive at the same amount as EPF calculated.
I tried both addidng up 5.8% of each contribution; and also 5.8% for each month balance, but both could not arrive at the same figure (though quite close).

Can please advise? THanks!

it is great that you voice out this concern.
I've never really do a calculation on the dividend they pay.
I don't have an EPF account. Maybe I will look into this from my wife's EPF acc.
