The reason i post this is to 'advertise' about a free phone app that i've created for keeping track on Warren Buffett portfolio and seeking feedback on it. Nothing more nothing less.
I have admired Warren Buffett for long long time as one can never go too wrong by following what he preaches - value investing. One should invest in stock that one knows and understand its business. By looking through the many stocks that he is holding right now one can notice that he is holding lots of household name such as P&G and Kraft, of which everybody even in Malaysia is familiar with.
There are many websites out there that one can search for what stocks the investment sage is holding right now. Since myself is pretty much tech savvy, i have always want to keep track
of Warren Buffett and Berkshire Hathaway stock portfolio directly on my Nokia phone, anytime anywhere. I have created an app that helps user follow Berkshire Hathaway and indirectly Warren Buffet's stock portfolio. It is a RSS feed based app, which get its feeds regarding Warren Buffett portfolio tracking, what is his latest moves & trades, what are the news of the stocks that he is holding and many more. i haven't implemented auto price updating though as i don't own such data source and decided not to take chance on the legal matter. It is fairly easy for user to get real time price by himself nowadays elsewhere. In fact, holding stock should be long term and as such real time pricing is not really a must in this case.
