Index fund investment

Postby jutamind on Wed Apr 09, 2008 11:22 am

Apart from a few KLCI index funds, can we invest in other index funds especially those available in SG or some other countries? anyone has such investment experience?

i think our consumers are under priviledged on such investment options...

I think it is possible. Two alternatives:

1. We need to contact the foreign broker/advisor directly. - transfer money there. Maybe some paper work need to be done but via snail mail.

2. Some Malaysian unit trust funds do invest in ETF or index fund. I will have to check through the funds to verify. These will be the "fund of fund".
